She holds a Doctorate in Engineering from the University of São Paulo, with an internship at the University of Lund - Sweden, a Master's degree in Transport Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2001) and a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1998). She has experience in transport engineering with a focus on transport system planning and organisation, working mainly on the following topics: logistics, traffic, traffic signs, public transport and environmental sustainability. She has been involved in design, teaching, research and innovation for 25 years. In addition to engineering, she has extensive experience in education, with a specialisation in EaD Planning, Implementation and Management from the Federal University of Fluminense and a degree in Mathematics. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience in higher education, 19 of which have been dedicated to professional education, an area in which she plays an important management role as Dean of the São Caetano do Sul Antônio Russo College of Technology. She also plays an active role in municipal councils, such as the Economic Development Council and the Innovation Council of São Caetano do Sul, as well as in spaces dedicated to educational and technological discussions and the inclusion of women in the technology market. She is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Centre for Support, Research and Innovation - Centre for the Study of Diversity, Intolerance and Conflict, with research related to education and artificial intelligence, and is also associated with research groups and centres related to education, technology and transport engineering. It is a member of IVEPESP, the Artificial Intelligence Group of STHEM SEMESP-METARED, the Women in ICT Group of METARED and the ONSV - National Observatory for Road Safety.
