About This Lesson

A large grid with images that can be used to encourage children to learn about grid references. Eg: What is in square A3 or which square is the house in etc. I enlarged mine on the photocopier and colored/laminated it but it would work just as well in it's black and white format. Has also been used as the basis for a homework activity with another class (they enjoyed having the grid to color themselves once questions completed). Now updated and grid reference numbers in the right place - thank you for pointing my mistake out. I don't know what I was thinking!

thanks

love the idea, but think the grid references are supposed to be along the bottom and up the left - but thanks anyway, will definitely come in handy x
