Stem & Leaf matching

Perfect! Hope to extend to work out mean, mode & median. Thank you.

I love this resource. I also split the cards for low ability pupils and extended for high ability by requesting modal class, range and median values for each matched set. A great alternative to drawing endless examples. Thanks

This is a fantastic resource. Used it for review today with foundation set and got them to extend by comparing two of the sets of data using median and range. Great thanks.

I added a set of 6 blank cards to each set and, as a differentiated activity, asked pupils to complete these by writing in the mode, range, median & mean for each set of data. Your card matching activity was praised as being 'a really good idea, especially linking stem & leaf diags to barcharts' by a member of the Inspectorate, who was observing this lesson, so a massive, massive 'Thank You'!
