About This Lesson
A TESiboard activity to measure the height and length of, and weigh, the animals at the vets. Lots of opportunities to draw out comparison language and to discuss reading scales with unmarked intervals. It is also a good model for a real life investigation. Place each animal against the measure stick to read off height and length. Make sure you line the animal up carefully against zero on the vertical and horizontal scale. Finally, place the animal on the scales to weigh it. Work through the animals one by one. The chart function provides lots of data handling opportunities!
