About This Lesson

A TESiboard capacity and "reading scales" activity. Work out the capacity of each container by pouring it into the measuring jug and working out the value using the scale. This can be played at a simple level with the minor values labeled, or be used to introduce the skills of working out the values in between, in this case using steps of 100ml. The 'Measure Capacity - Advanced' version of this activity gives more control over the way the scale is constructed and labeled.r.

Brilliant

Would have been better for my special needs class to have numbers (measurements) on the jug

We've put an option to show the measurements on the jug. Thanks for the comment. Steve Rawlins

Nicely done. Can be used for fractions with a denominator of 10.
