About This Lesson
Lots of slides with pairs of animals. Students have to work out which animal is the heaviest. Starts off with just comparing weights using place value knowledge; then moves on to simple addition.

A great resource to compare weights using animals. Could even do it without the weights and just compare the animals. Or, edit the weights and make it even trickier. Uses good mathematical vocabulary and symbols.
