Worksheet 2: Perfect of modals: a niggle! This is the second worksheet I've looked at which presents the last word in Ich habe es nicht finden koennen as being an infinitive, which is potentially very confusing. It would be more honest to say that modals do have a pp such as gewollt gekonnt etc , but for some strange reason prefer not to use it when working with an infinitive (which is of course most of the time!) but instead use something which looks just like their infinitive form.
