Starter to check understanding of parts of Venn diagram. Mystery activity in which students use clues to annotate Venn diagram and use it to calculate a probability - works best when cards are cut up in advance. The nrich challenge can be used as an extension activity.
I used this as a starter for AS Statistics and then lead into set notation.
