Students need to cut out the steps and rearrange them into a full proof.
I used this lesson with my pre-calc class and it went very well. There was some confusion as to if the top of the sheet of paper was a step or not. Some students thought it was a step which then confused the students. If you clarify this with students it should be fine. It was a good way to ease students into thinking about more complex proofs.
