About This Lesson

I was sick of doing the standard horse race to determine that number 7 is the most likely when you roll two dice; so here is my take on it.My suggestion is that you tell a story explaining that this is how the real Wacky Racers people did it! They loved that.

Great lesson pupils really got into the whole whacky races

Thank you for sharing this resource. After a quick round of generic horse race game as a class and a construction of the sample space diagram, we played the wacky races in small groups leading to lots of discussion about theoretical vs experimental probability. Great activity!
