About This Lesson

A TESiboard game for practising coordinates in one quadrant. The plane is flying blind in fog using coordinates which are received one at a time. Guide the plane to the island to parachute-drop supplies. If you move to the wrong coordinate the plane will hit a hidden obstacle! There are three levels, with different degrees of help. Play the partner activity "Flight Route Fog - Reaching Coordinates" after this activity.

An excellent resource which gets children actively thinking about co-ordinates and compass points. The boys will especially enjoy the airplane ellement of the game! Different difficulties can be set too so the whole class can play it simultaneously as a main activity if you have the computers in your school.
