About This Lesson

A snakes and ladders style game for practicing substitution. I have played this with all ages and students really enjoy it. A really good way for practising lots of substitution. Each pair or three needs on dice (can use any type of dice for this). How to play:1. Roll the dice on your turn2. Whatever the expression you are currently on... you substitute the x for the number you roll. 3. If positive move that number of spaces forward; if negative move that numbers of spaces backwards.Expressions can be easily edited to made easier or more harder. Different dice could be used.
