About This Lesson
These are paper microscope 'slides' that students can use to practice their microscope technique. I find them useful for practising focussing before actually looking at cells for real; as it gives them an idea about focal planes. I'm going to try using this with a keynote presentation which encourages them to identify each symbol. You could easily change the symbols; or possibly even make them smaller.
This is a useful idea; practising on paper slides with symbols on them before using glass slides and cells in order to help the students learn how to focus the microscope.
