Here is a worksheet about the running costs of a PS3 (original) versus a XBOX 360 using their power ratings to calculate their kilowatt hours energy usage and their running costs.

I quite like the idea of getting learners to write a convincing letter explaining why they should get an X-box 360 for Christmas. I can see quite a few pupils building a very convincing case and going back to their parents to convince them! Very good way to develop scientific understanding and Literacy skills.
