About This Lesson
Top trumps game on calculating averages. Differentiated by color; red being easier; orange being medium difficulty and green being more challenging. Starts with mode and median moving on to mean and range. No calculator needed. Usually I would give students either a red and orange set OR an orange and green set to play in pairs; they can show their working in their books if you want a record of their work!
I love your resources! The students hardly notice the math that they are doing, and playing one of your games often results in more high-quality work than anything else I have tried. This resource was very popular - students took packs to play in break-time, they enjoyed it so much!
