About This Lesson
Student are given a set of data to plot for a parachute jump and have to label on the different motions.
Good 10-15 minute activity.
10th Grade: Good for thinking about Newton's first law and balanced and unbalanced forces.
11th Grade: Good for plotting graphs and calculating acceleration from gradients at different points (get them to plot then work out the acceleration after 10 seconds).
