About This Lesson
This is a guide for parents that suggests a range of activities that they can do at home with their child to improve their math as well as their confidence and attitude towards math. It has suggestions for real life math connections. There are things that you can do while shopping such as comparing weights (what's heavier?) or while going on a walk (looking at door numbers or colors or counting things) or things you can do around the house (pairing up socks; playing dice games) as well as a few other suggestions.
Lovely ideas for parents to support math at home that can easily be added into daily routines.
