About This Lesson
Once students become familiar with the products of metal; metal oxide and metal carbonate reactions and the gas tests; provide them with the above murder report and a sample of the chemical of your choice to identify. You could ask them to produce a written forensic report or to present their evidence in a courtroom style setup.
