You are correct. The presentation needs to be corrected. Metals do not tend to gain electrons, and nonmetals do not tend to lose electrons. Otherwise, it is nicely done.

Very useful powerpoint, nice clear diagrams and definitions. I like the joke about irons :)

Great power point. Very helpful!!! Though, Is it just me or is slide 17 and 18 the wrong way round? In regards to the gaining and losing electrons? The Diagram seems to say one thing, but show another
