This resource is aimed at showing learners the importance of units when collecting and representing data in a scientific inquiry. The kids love it and it gives a very hands on experience of the importance of units in practical work in Science.

Today is Saturday. I started to tell the story of the Mars Climate orbiter Friday. I told the kids they will have to wait for Monday to find out what happens. I am going to use the link and the activity. Thank you. Janice
Old format, link to YouTube video and article do not work. Great concept, just old.
You have to read the instructions a couple of times to rather than scanning the resources to see how they work. However this looks like a really good activity and I will be using it with my students.
