About This Lesson
Starter activitiy (approx 15mins) to encourage students to think about limiting factors.They are 'plants'; with approx 5 in a team. Take it in turns to draw a card & gain or lose leaves depending on the conditions they are kept in. Each group will need instructions; cards and pile of leaves (these need to be cut up beforehand). Leads into discussion about the environmental conditions plants need to survive.
