About This Lesson
Students in pairs are to choose any section containing 3 shapes. students then have to choose the odd one out from each section and defend their choice to a partner by describing what is different about the shape compared to the other using the key words
This is a really nice idea for a starter or wrap up, students have to justify why a shape is the odd one out from two others. You could use this in pairs as suggested, or you could use it as a whole class, three selected students have to present an argument for each one of the shapes and then the class vote. This idea is easily adaptable for other topics. Thank you for sharing.
