About This Lesson
Top trumps on substituting into expressions. Differentiated by color; red being easier; orange being medium difficulty and green being more challenging. Starts with substituting positive numbers into one step and two step expressions moving up to substituting negatives into three step expressions. Usually I would give students either a red and orange set OR an orange and green set; play in pairs; can show work in their books if you want a record of their work!
This is a fantadtic resource based on the topic of substitution. The cards are differentiated so pupils can play the game based on their ability. I like the fact that celebrities are used as it is more likely to engage the pupils. Thanks for sharing this!
