About This Lesson
This is a calcogram story. Some of the words in the story are missing. The children have to use their calculators to work out the answers; and turn the calculator upside down to read the answer. They really enjoyed this activity. Some children went on to create their own calcogram stories.
A good way to develop calculator skills. I do find that some children struggle to understand the resulting words, but that improves the more they complete these! Thanks!
