About This Lesson
Cut up cards and give to pairs/groups of students. They must match up 4 sets of pictograms; bar charts; pie charts and tally charts. The last 7 cards are an extension and could be kept separate until students have matched the different representations.The errors in 2 of the clues in the original version have been corrected.
This is an excellent activity in which students have to match tally charts to bar charts, pie charts and pictograms. There is then an extension activity where they have to interpret which team is top of the league. This would make a great activity in a review lesson as students have to recognise and interpret all the different representations. I would get students to work in pairs as this is sure to bring about some good discussion. Thank you for sharing.
