I used this as a competition whilst working at a school in Peru/ Can be used as an introduction to writing a scientific method or just as a fun little competition at the end of term etc. Students have to do exactly what the instructions say using a piece of paper.
I have seen different versions of this activity, but I think the last instruction might need to say something like, "Please do not complete any of the above instructions... just sit quietly at your desk and smile at your teacher (and the other students who are trying to complete the difficult tasks!).
