Discuss what a percentage is; with the aid of 100 sqr grid; followed by 2 sets of differentiated questions based on fractions of 100. Also discuss simplifying to find other equivalent fractions

This format is nice because the kids can get very quick feedback on their skills.

A very nice powerpoint looking at percentages and fractions. The questions come in three different levels, easy (circles), medium (squares) and hard (ovals). Ideal as a main activity of a lesson or bits of it could be used as a starter/wrap up. Great opportunity for differentiated lessons.
