About This Lesson
Another set of calling cards I have used with my classes. This time the cards have the 3 trigonometric ratios. I put example questions on the board and then ask the class to put up the card which has the correct ratio on it that we would use in the question.
This is a great idea which can be used to consolidate the use of Trig ratios, students have three cards, sin, cos and tan and have to hold up the correct one depending on which is needed to solve the question. This would make a really nice starter before going on to look at how you substitute into the ratio. Rather than printing the cards you could always just ask students to write the correct function on a mini whiteboard and hold this up! Thank you for sharing.
