A very nice idea for a lesson on sequences and nth term rules. I especially like the idea that pupils get to make patterns with match sticks by glueing them down and trying to figure out the rule. This could be done in pairs or groups and could take a lesson to do.

Nice hands on aspect that requires students to go to higher levels of thinking.
