About This Lesson
Different things that make up the universe - could be put in order by students or matched with distances on the board. Students could work in groups to do this activity and be timed against other groups.

Many students do not have the background understanding of the structure of the universe, ie. that planets orbiting a star make up a solar system and solar systems make up galaxies, galaxies make up the universe. This activity could help students to understand these concepts.
