About This Lesson

Learning Outcomes: All chemical reactions are accompanied by temperature changes. This is because bonds are broken and bonds are formed. Reactions which give out heat energy (temperature rises) are know as exothermic reactions. Reactions which absorb heat energy (temperature drops) are known as endothermic reactions. Aim: To find out whether the given reactions are exothermic or endothermic.
