About This Lesson
We are going to learn: To find the speed of an object as it rolls down an inclined slope.If we measure the distance an object travels; and the time it takes to travel this distance; we can calculate the speed that the object is travelling at. speed = dist
This activity would benefit from a powerpoint with the scientific method included, as well as discussion questions for the students to get engaged. I would also invite my students to bring in or build a car that they like. This would allow for more authentic engagement.
