This is a great resource for a quick lab! I would add more details into my lab to not only eliminate questions, but also so that I have a lab that a student can easily follow on a make up day when I have multiple labs running at one time. I would create a separate data sheet where my students can record their hypothesis, data, and conclusion. I would also have more questions ready for an after lab discussion. I would highlight or underline the following line : "Remember to take away the original length of the spring for each reading to give the extension of the spring." Also, if you want more data sheets or resources for this experiment there are some more lessons on Hooke's law here on SML.
