The old problem of the farmer/goat/cabbage and wolf brought to you in technicolor. Students work in teams or pairs to solve the problem and work out the best way to present their solution to the class. Works well as a starter for lots of objectives.
A very useful resource which is most attractively presented. A real test of clear thinking here. It may be of interest to accompany this resource with the clip from Ricky Gervais' The Office, where the staff are on a training day and have to work out how a farmer might solve a similar problem.
Clearly enjoyable but let me know how to improve....
