About This Lesson

A cut out and paste activity to help learners understand the concept of short; long; longer; or shortest to longest. I made this to tie in with our people who look after us theme; but it could be used at any time - boys in particular seem to love the firemen (and some teachers too...). Learners have to cut out and order the ladders first; and then paste them onto the side of the matching length fire engine. :-) Aligned with Common Core State Standards: 1.MD.1, Measurement and Data.Appropriate for Early Childhood Education (Pre-K and younger). ECE-MA, ECE-MA-pa

Cute, fun. I'll need to add it to our "community" lesson.
