About This Lesson

I use this at the start of my low ability skills developing for number; taking the "little and often" approach. This way; they can continue with the same investigational work as the rest of the year and still get the recapping they need. If a student achieves 10 points they get a stamp or sticker in the box for that round. The student with the most awards at the end of the competition wins a grand prize. I also use this sort of thing with all my other classes; They love it!

A great idea to engage low ability pupils by providing a competitive aspect to number work. I like that the questions increase in difficulty in small steps and this is sure to help develop number skills.
