About This Lesson

Written for Simple kinetic molecular models of matter; this lesson looks at the origin of gas pressure and uses a Phet simulation to look at the relationship between temp and pressure at constant volume. In the first part of the lesson get a few students to role play gas pressure. Have them walk between four tables (making a "container") saying "bump" whenever they collide with the sides. get them to walk faster and the class can hear more "bumps" so a higher pressure. The collisions also have more force.
