This is a great activity to use when studying substitution into simple expressions and I can imagine students being very motivated to work through this. As mentioned below you could get them to make up their own code as an extension task. Thank you for sharing.

Nice simple activity but beautifully presented. Can see if students can find values for a, b, c to allow them to order answers in particular ways as extension
