About This Lesson

Students will work in groups of four with defined roles to research the legacies of ancient Greece. Students will have an opportunity to read about and explore through activities, the contributions of ancient Greece to our daily life. Students will use this information to prepare for a debate on the most important legacy of Ancient Greece. Lesson Objective: Students will be able to explain the lasting impact of ancient Greece on our culture today in the areas of: government, art and architecture, science, math, written language, theater and sports.
