About This Lesson

Children will examine the sculpture St. Ferdinand, King of Spain and will hear briefly about each element. Then they will learn a little bit about King Ferdinand, including where and when he lived. Finally, they will pretend to be the king holding his orb and moving about the room in their royal robes. Appropriate for E.C.E. (Pre-K and younger). ECE teacher may want to bring in a book, such as The Emperor's New Clothes, to help students make connections. ECE-LT, ECE-LT-vo, ECE-LT-sp, ECE-LT-co
