About This Lesson
http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video series I will show you how to solve a quadratic by factoring a perfect square trinomial. A perfect square trinomial is a special type of quadratic and can be factored very easily if you are able to identify one. Simply put a perfect square trinomail is when your value of c is a square number and your value of b is double the square root of c. You can then factor the trinomial as a binomial square using the square root of c with the sign of b. We then use the zero product property and inverse operation to solve for x to find the x-intercepts and zeros of the equation.
