About This Lesson

http://www.freemathvideos.com in this video series I will show you how to solve a quadratic equation by factoring a quadratic in the form or y = ax^2 - c by using the difference of two squares. We can only apply the difference of two squares only when we have the form of a^2-b^2. By using the shortcut of difference of two squares we have a factored form of (a-b)(a+b). We can then apply the zero product property to solve the quadratic to find the zeros and x-intercepts of the equation of function.
