About This Lesson

Identifying coins is very difficult for kindergarteners. This game gives them practice in finding a specific coin and matching it to it's cent value. Copy on cardstock and laminate one gameboard for each child and one money spinner. Students take turns spinning and finding the matching coin. I use real money. Students stack the coins that they spin more than one of. At the end of the activity, ask each of them to tell you which coin they spun the most. Appropriate for Early Childhood Education (Pre-K and younger). ECE-MA, ECE-MA-co, ECE-MA-po, ECE-MA-ma
