About This Lesson

These lessons are based on the Accessible Literacy Framework. The goals, materials and procedures advocated for within this framework are based on the intervention research by Light, McNaughton, Fallon & Millar. ALF is designed to facilitate literacy development of students with special needs, including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and multiple disabilities. Often literacy programs require oral response whereas these lessons provide options for students to respond receptively.
