President's Day Go Fish

This is a great President's Day center. Copy and laminate 6 sets of the American National Symbols, famous presidents and monuments cards. Give each child three cards and place the remaining cards in a draw pile. Students first check to see if they have any pairs and place pairs face up on the table.
Students take turns asking for a card they need from anyone in the group. If the child has the card, he/she needs to pass it to the person requesting it. If not, the person requesting takes a card from the draw pile. The student with the most pairs wins.
