About This Lesson
This powerpoint is very bare, but that is on purpose so teachers can modify it easily. The basic idea, in 6 slides, is how to take a claim that students have written (one slide explains briefly how to write one) and then transform it through 3 editing techniques: Re-wording, rephrasing, and adding. The examples used are from a Neolithic Revolution unit, but they can be switched out for any content-specific examples.
