About This Lesson
For students in elementary-high school who read at below proficient levels. Uses computer activities, audiobooks, direct instruction, and novels/literature. The computer program adapts to levels, and allows instructors to collect data.
The program is taught in 90 minute blocks, with students cycling through small group direct instruction, computer program time, and modeled/independent reading.
WWC found that 7 of 102 reviewed studies met standards with reservations.
HS students can benefit if the program is integrated into developmentally appropriate materials for developing readers.
