About This Lesson
This lesson evaluates our uses and misuses of monetary and fiscal policies based on historical usage to guide the United States economic system based on the book authored by Barry Eichengreen entitled "Hall of Mirrors: The Great Depression, The Great Recession, and the Uses - and Misuses of History" New York: Oxford University Press (2015). This gives students an opportunity to evaluate the need for overall economic structural reforms including future participation in the International Monetary Fund.
