About This Lesson
This is a great Unit Opener for a 1920's/Great Depression Unit, and I also use it before reading Of Mice and Men in English. It's fun to set up the classroom like a speakeasy and have the students say the password before entering the room. We all dress up and talk with 1920's slang all day!
