About This Webinar

Join the Constitutional Rights Foundation and Share My Lesson for an on-demand webinar on having civil conversations around the Syrian civil war.

In this structured discussion method, under the guidance of a teacher-facilitator, participants are encouraged to engage intellectually with challenging materials, gain insight about their own point of view, and strive for a shared understanding of issues, in this case related to policies concerning refugees from the Syrian civil war.

Speakers

Damon is the senior editor and curriculum specialist at Constitutional Rights Foundation in Los Angeles. He is also the director of the California Three Rs Project (Rights, Responsibility, and Respect), which informs the education community about issues of religious freedom and First Amendment principles in public schools.
